What if I can’t afford an attorney?

Depending on your circumstances and legal needs, you may qualify for free legal assistance. If you are facing criminal charges, speak with the Court about court-appointed counsel. If you need help with a civil matter, contact Ohio Legal Services at (866) LAW-OHIO to find an agency that can help. If you do not qualify for any agency services, some attorneys may be willing to provide legal advice at no charge.
